The Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) has never been held outside of the United States until now.
Come 2013 and 2014, the Melbourne Showgrounds will host one of the biggest expos celebrating the games culture. The PAX President Robert Khoo mentioned that once the company reached out to their international fans, the response from Australia was overwhelming, particularly from Melbourne, Victoria.
“Melbourne has a long history of supporting the games scene, through showcasing cultural game exhibits to supporting world renowned game developers. Holding PAX Australia in Melbourne is the perfect fit for our show.”
This expo showcases hundreds of new and upcoming games over the span of several days. Attending it ensures you the satisfaction of trying out brand news titles before everyone else.
It will be held on July 19 to the 21st at Melbourne Showgrounds in 2013.
