Bioshock Infinite gives multiplayer a miss

Bioshock developer Ken Levine has confirmed via twitter that Irrational Games will give multiplayer a miss for Bioshock: Infinite. Is multiplayer really so important to games these days?

The new Bioshock coming on February 26th will most likely have an amazing single player experience since they have opted out of any sort of multiplayer as confirmed above. This feels like a good move since a lot of games have been, not ruined but damaged by the split focus on both multiplayer and single player. Although, BioShock does have some crazy co-op potential, it is unlikely that we will see that in Infinite.

  1. I agree with after dark. I’m all about campaign. Scrap the multiplayer if it going to ruin the main game. Too many people focus on multiplayer and ruin the games nowadays anyway.
